Group ride with Alec Gore.

There were 11 riders for Alec's Sat Cafe Run to the Tea Cosy at Hurstbourne Tarrant.
At last, a day to ride when conditions were as close to perfect as you could expect.

An overcast start, but the sun was shining later on.

From Winnall the ride went up to Kingsclere via East Stratton and Micheldever Station, with a
great view from White Hill across "Watership Down".

Then it was across to Penwood and down the twisty A343 to Hurstbourne Tarrant for a stop at
the Tea Cosy. From there we continued out through the villages to Burbage, Pewsey and Upavon
before returning through Tidworth and

Grateley to Stockbridge, where a few of us stopped at the White Hart for a soft drink and chat.

Traffic was light, although good to see other bikers out, including another club's group ride. There were plenty of sweeping bends and a few overtaking opportunities to keep the ride interesting. Sorry that Jo had to drop out partway with a bike issue.
